Organic Cocoa Beans

“Cocoa” is simply the term for cacao that has been processed with heat.  When cacao seeds are harvested, they are fermented to capture the best of the color and flavor before being dried and roasted.  The roasted seeds are then ground into a paste, the fat (cocoa butter) is extracted, and all that’s left is pure cocoa powder.

Dark chocolate in its purest form, our cocoa is made from pure 100% Peruvian cacao with no added sugars.  All of the sugars in our Protein and Energy Bars come straight from the fruits, so we have no need to add sugars!

Cocoa is a great source of minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, and zinc, as well as Vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C, E — a tasty way to add health benefits!
